UNPUBLISHED SHEET-MUSIC (originals held in Archives)

We use the term "unpublished" to mean "not issued in a printed edition".  The term does not mean that there is no copyright control.  Copyrights even in "unpublished" pieces have almost always been assigned to and are controlled by a publisher, or otherwise the Noël Coward Estate, and the issue of copies of all unpublished material is closely controlled and (provided they are willing to release the material, which may not always be the case) one must expect to pay the appropriate copyright owner for duplicate copies of any manuscript.  Contacts for publishers and other sources are as follows:
